Andrew Beames has done a fantastic job in setting up the junior program that we have going at the club at the moment. We have expanded our junior program this year to include under 9's under 11's as well as two under 13 teams, under 15's and under 17's. Thank you so much to all the coaches and parents involved in these teams it is certainly leading the way for a bright future around the club. This year we also have the Milo Have a go clinics taking part at the club on Friday nights for the little tackers from 6:30pm, the kids will have the chance to be coached by the A grade cricketers around the club as well as others. If you would like more details please speak to the bar staff.

Blunt Hair and Beauty has been the major sponsor of the Gepps cross Cricket club for the past two seasons. Owners Matt and Jodie Burr have had an association with club since 1996 when Matt started playing the best part of 3 years in the B grade and a occasional A grade birth. A few years out of the game brought back his hunger not just for playing the game but to see the club right with some financial backing when working in the construction industry. Now in a new business venture in Blunt Hair and Beauty with wife Jodie, Matt is spending a lot more time off the tools giving his weary body a rest. There is a whisper he might make a comeback! I don't know if the club is that desperate! Saturday October 24th at The Northgate Sports and Social Club Blunt Hair and Beauty along with The Cancer Council SA hosted a fundraising event for skin cancer and the maintenance of Flinders and Greenhill Lodge. This event was called 'The Blunt Truth about Cancer' where they raised about $5,400. Over 30 businesses supported this event in some way, but special thanks must go to Kym Flanagan and the Northgate people, Limbo's Gym, Appellation Wine Company,Godfreys, A.J.Coleman, Robyn Stevens, all the staff at Blunt, Kate Totman from the Cancer Council. Also to the volunteers who helped make and serve the food, the set up and much much more.
Matt and Jodie would like to wish all grades including the junior cricket club a fun and successful year.

 Club Song

(To The Tune Of The Richmond Football Club Song)

Oh We're the Gepps Cross Rams

You've just been beaten by the Gepps Cross Rams

In any weather you will see us with a pint

Putting up a fight

Bat All Day

We'll play through rain

We Never Ever Train

Oh we're the Gepps Cross Rams

We never give in 'till the final run is scored

 Like the Rams of Old

We're strong and we're bold

Oh we're the Gepps Cross

Red White and Blue

Oh we're the Gepps Cross Rams
